Welcome Back

The wait is over. After almost six months since it closed its doors on June 5th, the Triplex is ready to reopen. 

You’ll notice some changes right away: a new lobby, a new ticketing system, and this new website.

But you’ll also notice some things are still coming together. We wanted to bring our community back to the movies as soon as possible, which means bringing you back to a work in progress. We’ll be adding some finishing touches to the cinema and this site in the coming weeks, so please bear with us if you feel something is missing. (We promise it will be there soon.)

You’ll also notice that, during this soft open, we’ll only be showing movies in Theaters 3 and 4, our two smallest screens. Theater 1, our largest screen, is currently under construction and will reopen in December of this year. Theater 2, meanwhile, still needs to be rebuilt after our cleaning and structural repair work.

That’s where you come in. 

We saved the Triplex this summer thanks to the overwhelming support we received from this community. And while we purchased the building and completed this first phase of repairs and renovations, there’s still a lot of work to do. 

There are a few ways to help: You can donate at savethetriplex.org, as over 1000 of you have since our campaign started in April. You can become a sustaining member when our membership drive begins in December. And, most importantly, you can come to see a movie. Buy your tickets, grab a snack, and find a seat alongside your friends and neighbors. 

We want this new version of the Triplex to feel like home to our community. And, as we all know, there's no place like home.
